Indonesian Journal of Linguistics (IJL) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually (May and November) by Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur since 2024. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly works that advance the understanding of human language as a system of communication and as a cognitive, social, and historical phenomenon.
IJL provides a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate original research articles, review papers, and book reviews in the field of linguistics. The journal welcomes contributions that employ diverse theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches, including qualitative, quantitative, exploratory, and confirmatory studies, as well as synchronic and diachronic perspectives.
